On the Road Again

Half the fun is getting there right?! So the trip isn't over til I'm back in Clinton. We had planned to leave here at 5 after Hali gets out of her last class but...weather is ugly back home today so we're gonna try to leave earlier so that we don't have to fight darkness and a storm at the same time. This trips been fun with the exception of yesterday. I woke up so sick. Fever, swollen lymph nodes, achy muscles...not fun. It made my day miserable. But I took some meds and slept ALOT and today I feel alot better. I don't have the chills anymore, and my body feels more 'whole'. My sore throat lingers and I'm a little sluggish but hey! its SEVERAL steps in the right direction compared to yesterday! I decided we have to get sick sometimes to appreciate being 'not sick' the rest of the time! Anyway. Travis turned 24 yesterday! And I wasn't home to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I did call him though. We're having his party on Sunday so that everybody can be there. It's been so nice to have a change in scenery but it'll be good to be home too. Hopefully our drive back goes smooth! I'd really love to not slide off the road, or hit any deer...
