this, that, and the other

My weekend was GREAT! Boys didn't last long in region but they barely lost, and played great! I had a date both nights. One kinda unofficial, and then other your typical. One was a movie and just catching up! It'd been months since I'd seen this guy. The other, TGI Fridays, I'd never been so that was good, and then 2 games of bowling. I did horribly if you wondered. Barely hit 40 the first game, but bowled over 100 the second...so, I don't know. Its pure luck for me, and clearly I don't always have it :) After bowling we went to his friends house and watched oceans 12. And, I got to meet his friends 'pup'......that was actually this ENORMOUS MASTIFF THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY.....BIG. Really cool. Just, don't get in it's way, he'll take you down :) Also, Saturday DAY Joni, Cass, Kennedi, and I went shopping. It was good to get out of the house and have some sister bonding time...We went to what was supposed to be the NEW ROSS...yeah, it wasn't open yet...it was really funny, and a little embarrassing even though it was just us girls that saw it happen. So we shopped elsewhere ;) Then we went to RC willey to visit Nater, and have some free subs for lunch. YUM! Sunday was fun, travis and I went to a singles BRANCH in syracuse. Then to our own ward for sunday school and relief society/priesthood. Got alot out of church this week it seemed so it was really great! It's always cool when I leave having had a good cry. I love the spirit. AND I NEVER CRY. So, its neat. Odd as that may seem. Then the CES Fireside was at 6. Julie B. Beck. I enjoyed it...More about marriage, and how did up our chances of finding that right person. Anyway, I've got notes on that elsewhere :) As all of Sunday went, Kristine and her family were over at our house. So, I didn't get to see too much of them. They came over because Chelsey had a baby!...January 19th. We had no idea she was even pregnant. Their family kept it under wraps for various reasons. So we got to see BABY Robert Justin (RJ) and Chels, and her Boyfriend Justin, who went to school with her in New Mexico. I think they plan to marry? They're handling the situation as well as they can. Its one day at a time. I commend the guy for sticking around. Anyway, Kristine, Lindsey, Chase, Karlie, and Reese are all great too. Much bigger. It's funny how they shouldn't get any older it seems, but I've certainly grown up over the years! I LOVE THEIR FAMILY. ITS NO WONDER WE'RE FRIENDS. Seriously. They're alot of fun, and just really trying to live upright lives, and man, they've struggled. So, its just cool to see them come around, and keep standing up after they fall. I'M DEFINITELY BLESSED TO KNOW THEM.
"There is no end to the good we can do, to the influence we can have with others. Let us not dwell on the critical or the negative. Let us pray for strength; let us pray for the capacity and desire to assist others. Let us radiate the light of the gospel at all times and all places, that the spirit of the Redeemer may radiate from us. In the words of the Lord to Joshua- 'Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the Lord thy God (will be) with thee withersoever thou goest'"

MONDAY! I always know the week is going to start over again after the weekend is over, but...gosh it always comes too fast. I never seem to get quite enough accomplished! The upside to this week though, means that next week is spring break! I'm afraid it might be more of a 'catch up' week than anything. But even that is more than welcome! If I happen to get out of the house, and away from the books that'll be great but we will see! I took the week off work so it will literally be a week of whatever I make it! I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival :) Anyway. My english class has turned out to be quite the joke. We're way off her original schedule---syllabus. We're supposed to be an entire week into our second paper, and we're still reviewing our first drafts of our first paper. Fine by me..but seriously, whats the deal? I haven't learned a thing, I've just been sufficiently frustrated by her lack of schedule. It's easy as ever, but......boring. How do these people get hired? Honestly :) I did get my immuno- paper finished, so my to-do list is now smaller. I never got to those articles but I plan to finish all of those at work today. Usually with the DAD being my boss on Mondays, I get time to do homework. It's a nice nice thing about being workin with the parents.
Trav and I drove to school together today, sometimes we do that. Gas is outrageous. We were late, but barely. I DID have Physiology today, all about muscle metabolism, and we started into the blood. I love the class. It's the having to remember everything for the test that gets me! ........duh. Social Problems was...well, not even worth mentioning. And then English, I got there, realized she was doing another day of draft reviews, so I didn't have to be there. So, I got to go to the science lab and work on other homework...theres always something to do. Travis was still doing research so...had to wait for him for like an hour and a half! I got alot done though so it was time well spent.
So, the rest of the day holds in store for me, 4 hours of work, indefinite hours of some form of homework, family home evening, and with any luck a little leisure time.....or maybe this is it?
I'LL FIND OUT WON'T I ---love!
P.S. Thank you thank you Mom. You are too amazing. She totally polished up the final draft of my paper. That, I thought was due today, but wasn't.....! XOXO
