tOdAy

So last Saturday became yard work mania. Part of it was moving Grandpa Canova's broken down lawn mower aka rat trap, to somewhere less embarrassing. Anyway, we opted to get it out of the back yard via the big gates on the west side of the back yard. Well, Travis had worked in the front yard and turned on the sprinklers so the front part of the back yard right there was all muddy cause the dirt was wet from the front yard, sprinklers. ANYWAY, Dad and Trav pushed it over there, and then Dad and I were going to push it up over the wood block, or whatever is right there, and as soon as we counted to three, Dad pushed, lost his footing on the mud and went down hard :) Ah, man it was funny. I wish all of you could have been there. I found myself still laughing oh, ten minutes later. It's one of those things I've been able to replay over and over again in my mind and just laugh. He didn't hurt anything but his self esteem. Covered in mud, he kept on to the next projects at hand!
Another little project was that Dad and Travis ripped out the stairs at the back door, they're old tattered and torn so we're building, or buying, some new ones. Well, Dad went to the store Saturday and didn't find exactly what he wanted so for the moment, its a jump out the back door with no stairs. So.....sugar went to do something for Sage (our German Shepherd) on sunday morning. She was just leaning out the sliding door, and the dog backed away from her, and she fell out the door! No one was there to witness this comical event. But her story of it is quite funny. She didn't hurt herself either. So...man, this weekend was rough on the parentals ;)

Um, grades were posted yesterday. I got all A's. Once A- in Physiology. So, yay! Not a single complaint there. I'm very content. My social life is at a stand still. Mike left for Hawaii Tuesday morning and he'll be there til next Tuesday so...yeah. He's about the only guy I care to spend any time with it's been a boring couple of days. Monday night he came over to my house and we went to get frosty's and then went and played at West Point Park, and then came back to my house, and we built a fire in the back yard. It was great. He even kissed me, and it wasn't terrible. So, good news there :D

Work has been ok. Nothing new, just more hours now that its summer time.
Today is Kennedi's 1st Birthday. We're all getting together @ 6pm to celebrate at Barne's Park in Kaysville. I work til then so I'll be late, but better late than never!
Kenna and Gage are in Moab this week so Trevin's been a guest at our house. He's such a cute little guy. He laughs all the time it's the best thing. I absolutely love him.

Today, I ran into Derrick Orme. He's from my institute class last fall. ('07)....cute guy. I didn't talk to him though. Its weird running into people in a place you don't usually see them. Anyway, kinda random, but good to see him anyway. Work goes on for a few more hours...JOY...
