Lately..

BLOG!
Yesterday was Cassidy's 11th Birthday!! She spent the whole day out with my mom.
They went to breakfast, and to the movies, and to visit Kennedi, and McKenna, and Cathy..
she got chinese for dinner, and a cake from the store...
We'll have her real birthday party on Sunday with all the family over.
She's also having her annual Hampton Inn Shin Dig on June the 2oth with all her friends.
AND Mike and I were able to take her out on Tuesday the 10th :) we went to Famous Dave's and Bowling. We did about a quarter of our game without bumpers and then realized if we had any hope of breaking 100 we better put 'em up. Needless to say we all did much better from then on ;)
For a side note, Mike loved his birthday. Or so he says. The blanket was a hit, he said it was heaven to sleep with. He wore his new tie to church, and ate his sunchips after church.
We still need to do the puzzle and practice catching marshmallows in our mouths but all in all it was a fun day. He introduced me to rhubarb out of his garden. I didn't even know what it was before! It has quite a unique taste, but it was fun to learn how to eat.
A few nights ago Mike and I took Cassidy outside on the trampoline to look at the stars. We had looked at her book about the stars and planets beforehand which sparked the interest.
We showed her satellites, and explained why the moon and the stars have light. She was a pro by the time we came inside.
Mike is a perfect catch. It took a while for him to really grow on me, but now I can barely go a day without him. Yesterday night we got talking, we already knew he was indecisive, but my mom found out he also can't whistle...she was like "you so belong in this family!"
Of course its too soon to say if that is in our future, but for now, I'd just REALLY love to keep him around.
I finally got my mileage check back at work. I THOUGHT I got it in April, but apparently Dr. Major and Tanya didn't communicate that very well. It was really awkard that whole time I was trying to get it back because I don't like to look like the selfish employee but I also can't afford my Brigham trips without compensation so....anyway, alls well that ends well right?
We took office pictures on Monday afternoon to give to Dr. Major for his birthday. I'll have to post them on here but for the moment I don't have them with me.
Um, last weekend, June 7th I believe, Nate, Joni, Mike, and I went on a double date to Tepanyaki in Layton. It was so fun! I was not looking forward to the chef throwing a shrimp at me because I am not skilled in catching food in my mouth, but I got lucky and caught it my first try! Maybe he's just a good aim :) Anyway, great entertainment, and 3 fabulous people keeping me company. I really am such a lucky girl.
It's back to teaching gospel doctrine for me this week. It's been a few weeks since I've had to teach because of going to Orem for RJ's (Chelsie Norton's son) baby blessing, but It'll be good to get back in the routine.

IT'S A GOOD DAY---
AND IT'S BEEN A GOOD MONTH---
I HOPE YOU ALL FEEL SEMI UPDATED!!
LOVE, SIERRA
