Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010

New Years Eve this year consisted mostly of eating, eating, eating, and playing lots of Band Hero, and pool and ping pong spin off games. We had a lot of fun! We also had the Coombs family pictures taken earlier in the day (as Ben and Tearsa were here to visit for the holidays, so we had the whole family here). I'll post that once we get them back!

After this party ended, we headed down to my mom and dad's for FIRST BREAKFAST. We didn't get any pictures of this (darn it). But it was fun to have a little breakfast to start out 2010 and spend some time with my side of the family, playing the wii :) 2009 was great and terrible. Mike and I were married of course, making it my favorite year up to now, we got to have TWO honeymoons, one to Park City, the other to Maui, we experienced our first apartment, and some good and awful cooking :) We settled into our own Ward, got callings, survived two semesters together, watched lots of great movies, and spent lots of great days and nights with our families who we love so much; but...I also cried more than usual with the stress of nursing school and missing my family when I moved out of my house. The adjustment was bigger than me, and I was not prepared for that! Change is necessary, but not always easy. I was lucky to have all the support that I did to make it to today and have 2010 (can you believe it?!) to look forward to. It is certain other bumps in the road will find me this year, but I know with my wonderful family and the help of the Lord, I'll make it through this one too with more lessons learned and irreplaceable memories. Here we go....!
