FRIDAY IS HERE AGAIN!...BUT I'M NOT COMPLAINING!

Recently...Mike and I have been looking for an apartment to move to.
We haven't found one yet. So this afternoon we get to go looking some more!
Wish us luck that we find something. Even though it has been great living with the in-laws, we are ready to have our own space once again!

The other thing I've been doing alot of lately, school! this is no surprise to you all, but I had to say it anyway :) I now have....8 days left of clinicals (equalling 75 hours + drive time), 11 days of class (roughly 75 hours of pure lecture) 10 more exams, one more paper, too much studying and a WHOLE BUNCH OF PATIENCE. But hey...we're getting there!

Next...I got a job! Did I mention this already?
I now work for Ivy Lane Pediatrics. It is a home heatlh agency for kids!
I started last week and am very happy with how things are going, the flexibility, the pay, the people I work with, and the families. So, so far so good.

My license finally posted on DOPL so I'm legal to work on my own as a nurse. The only downside to it (being a newby in healthcare) is that I get to work every Saturday night.
Oh well. It won't be like this for long.
Mike is taking me on a date tonight after our apartment hunt, we're thinking Texas Roadhouse and maybe a redbox or movie at the Kaysville theater. Either way, it will be a sweet rest from the busy week we've had.
Anyway, we're both doing great and just pushing along on the road to our degrees! Mike is preparing for the MCAT in april, and I'm preparing to graduate in july..and then hopefully pass my RN boards shortly thereafter.

We hope all the rest of you still in school are hanging in there too, and for all of our friends and family already finished, we wanna say thanks a million for supporting us and showing us there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
