Katie and the RACE FOR THE CURE 2010

NEWLY DIAGNOSED.

Mike and I went with his family and supported Katie in the 2010 Race for the cure. Katie is mike's sister. She is 35 and found out she had breast cancer right before Mike and I got married. She was a sport and put on a happy face for our wedding even though worry must have been unbearable. She fought hard through chemo, surgery, and radiation in 2009 and is now doing great! We all wore hats...(that you can't read very well in these pictures, but they say, "Hats off to Katie! Survivor 2009". We love you Katie. We're so glad we got the chance to go and be a part of the Race :)

SURVIVOR. There were sooooo many people there at the Race. It was inspiring to see all the support out there for people who still race for loved ones past, for those still fighting and for those who have SURVIVED breast cancer. We hope to see all of you there next year in the

RACE FOR THE CURE 2011!
