Conference Weekend!

Grandpa stayed in the ICU until yesterday evening. He's still within the walls of the hospital but it's an improvement not being in the ICU right?! Um, Kenna and Gage bought a house over by the Clinton Pond. They ought to be moving within a few weeks. I went to my first Red Cross Volunteer Meeting, and already have two assignments. My disaster relief classes start tomorrow night, so that should be fun! School is getting to that stressful point. We're well into April and I just have to survive the rest of the month! Today I got my third take home test in Human Physiology. I've got until next wednesday to complete that, and then on that Wednesday, the 3rd chitester opens. So...I'm pretty sure I won't have a life between now and then. I also get to teach this Sunday. So somewhere among everything else, I need to prepare my lesson!
Jonny called me on Sunday. I talked to him for a little over a half hour. Just kinda catching up on our lives, what's been going on. Up until Sunday it'd been a month since I'd spoken with him! So...It was a good thing I guess. Also this past week I found out Cody Talbot broke up with his girlfriend, so I've been talking to him more lately. But....I still don't feel very 'drawn' to him. The word has been getting out that I didn't get into the Nursing Program and I'm getting alot of comments about people being sorry. Which is great. They're all just trying to be nice. But really, I don't need it...I kick myself enough about my not so good grades that fall semester. And I'd really just like to fix it and forget about it. It's not the end of the world. REALLY! I really can't explain with words the stress thats on me right now, with school, church, relationships, work, and all that comes with life I'm really feeling overwhelmed. The Half Marathon I've registered to run is coming up quickly and I had been doing really well until this weekend. With McGuires up to visit, and all the general conference festivities, I got out of my routine. So..somehow I've got to get back into that! I did get to attend the Saturday morning session of Conference, and was able to participate in the Solemn Assembly in the Conference Center. It was really neat to be there and sustain the new prophet, President Thomas Spencer Monson. Elder D. Todd Christopherson was named the newest member of the 12 Apostles.
So Anyway, Lots going on, and hardly enough time in the day to get any of it done.
