Thanksgiving morning started with the TURKEY BOWL. The boys play every year and this year I decided to go watch. It was cold but I had fun watching them, especially Mike, my man, making some great catches, and touchdowns. Being married is fun, and working around where we go on the holidays isn't too bad to coordinate, THANKFULLY! Mike's brother bought me some hot chocolate after the game, just in time too, cause I was frozen solid :) Thanks Nick!
After the game we headed back home to get ready for the day and to spend a little bit of time with Mike's family before we headed down to my hometown for the rest of the day.
Mike and I had been assigned to bring cookie salad and green bean casserole. After much effort and several recipe mishaps. We showed up (late) with our finished products! and people at them! It's amazing how many times you can make something with your mom and then when you're on your own it feels like you've never done it before...! Hopefully with time, I'll be a good cook. The rest of the day (after eating) was filled with family and lots of love :) Malcolm, Melanie, and their girls, David and Joydel, and my family were all there. It made for some close quarters but I couldn't have asked for a better holiday. Here's a few pictures to remember our great day!
